What we are looking for...

We are looking for a talented Marketing professional to develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans to promote our brand, attract potential customers and retain existing ones. 

The Marketing Manager forms an integral part of our wider Marketing department. The APAC Marketing Manager will work closely with the Global Marketing and Sales teams to formulate and execute integrated marketing programs to generate brand awareness across the APAC market.

This role is based in our office in Tokyo, Japan.

PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A OFFICE BASED ROLE for 12 MONTH CONTRACT.

Key responsibilities of the role...

Marketing management

  • Set up, execute and monitor (regional) marketing plans to create leads, increase brand awareness and nurture client base.
  • Create leads through online, offline channels and partnerships, including acquisition via digital channels and lead nurture through CRM tools.
  • Increase brand awareness through relevant content, partners, sponsorships, awards, online and offline.

Website maintenance and UX

  • Manage and maintain the Content Guru Japan website.
  • Ensure content is regularly updated and translated properly to guarantee best user experience.
  • Increase brand awareness through relevant content including case studies, testimonials, product portfolios.

Marketing Partnerships

  • Manage and execute (regional) partnerships to create sales opportunities and increase brand awareness
  • Assist with the organisation of sponsorship opportunities.

Campaign and Event management  

  • Set up and execute omnichannel campaigns across international marketplaces as required.
  • Organise events, networking opportunities and campaigns via relevant channels.
  • Maintain the marketing database and nurture it via marketing automation.

About you...

  • Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent, or substantial alternative experience.
  • Previous experience delivering successful and strategic ominchannel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong background as a senior marketing professional.
  • Experience in graphical (user interface) design is desirable.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills, verbal and written. 
  • Native or fluent level Japanese and English.
